Dear Sister:

Welcome to the 2009 Calvary Community Church Women's Bible Study and Small Groups.

I am so excited that you have decided to be part of what God has in store for us this year. The study will focus on the Book of Matthew, and will be entitled, "It's All About Jesus!" My prayer is that you will open your heart and mind to all that God has for you; that He will bless you and you will be drawn into an even deeper love relationship with Jesus Christ.

If the Women's Bible Study team can be of assistance in any way, please be sure to ask.

God bless you,

Leslie Martin

NOTE: On January 16th & 17th, Anne Graham Lotz speaks for all Calvary Services kicking off the “I Saw the Lord” weekly Bible studies.

We will be doing these studies in all WBS and all the small groups for 8 weeks.  (Anne’s Video teachings will be shown during the teaching time and the small groups will be going through the book and discussions).

Lies Women Believe
Facilitator: Kirsten Ongstadt
Book: Lies Women Believe

We are like Eve.  We all have experienced defeat and failure, trouble and turmoil.  We all have experienced a selfish heart, a shrewish spirit, anger, envy and bitterness.  We ache to do things over, to have lives or harmony and peace.  Lies Women Believe exposes those areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women such as lies about God, about ourselves, our husbands, our children, lies about sin, our priorities, our emotions, and our circumstances.  Nancy DeMoss sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness and abundant life.  This study offers the most effective weapon to counter and overcome Satan’s deceptions:  God’s Truth.
