| About Women's Ministry | Calvary Women's Ministry is focused upon two things in the lives of the women who attend Calvary Community Church and others who participate in our ministries.
The Heart
We want to bring the message of the gospel to those women who are not saved-that they may receive a "new heart" from Jesus! "And I shall give them one heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 11:19, 20 We also want to encourage the hearts and build up the godly lives of our sisters in Christ! "...you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts." 2 Corinthians 3:3
The Home
Our homes are our first sphere of ministry. We want to encourage our sisters to look to Jesus to build up their homes. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" Psalm 127:1 And we want to encourage the women who participate in our ministries to be builders in their homes. "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands." Proverbs 14:1 |
