"And I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. For everyone here, including all the soldiers in the palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ."
                                                                                    Philippians 1:12-13 

     Paul didn't allow big or small problems slow him down. He let God use him in whatever situation he was in and no matter the circumstances, he trusted God. Paul didn't keep it a secret that he was a Christian and he let everyone know of his love for Jesus.

     While Paul was in prison, he shared his love for the Lord and did not let the fact that he was in prison get him down. He was determined to share the gospel message with everyone. Since he was chained to different guards throughout his time in prison, he had the opportunity to tell each of them about Jesus. Had Paul not been in prison, the guards may have never heard about Christ's love for them. 

     During difficult times in our life, it may be hard for us to keep our focus on Jesus. Instead of looking at our problems or the situation we are in, we can ask the Lord for opportunities and strength to share His Word with others. Wherever we are today, look for someone with whom we can share the Word of God and let others see His love through us.
