"...the wine ran out..." John 2:3, NASB
There are six empty stone water pots sitting over there and there is nothing in them. What do you do? This is a crisis. They've run out of wine! It's a Jewish wedding, and they weren't just a few hours long, they could stretch on for days. What are they going to do? This could ruin the joy and the hopes of this newly married couple.
By the way, what an interesting point! Just newly married, and there is a crisis in their lives! It doesn't take long for a newly married couple to be introduced to the concept of crisis.
Marriage is filled with crises. From the first year to many years later, there are all sorts of crises in marriage. Who do you turn to with your marriage problems? You turn to Jesus! If you're newly married and going through a crisis, get help right away. It's okay, go to a pastor or a friend, maybe a couple who have a marriage that you admire. You'll never regret doing everything you can to learn to communicate and deal with conflict early in your marriage. Don't wait until you've hurt each other too much, you're loved and not alone.

Thank you so much for Grace Mail and the book Psalms Today, but most of all thank you for allowing God to use you for our edification. I was laid off last Monday. The place I worked is going through financial hardships. It has been wonderful reading the Grace Mail and having it speak to exactly what I needed. God is great in that way. He gives us what we need when we need it! I was able (through the grace of Christ) to witness to some of the people I worked with. I was surrounded by atheists, and people who believed in God but hardened their hearts. I prayed that I would not have to go back there and He answered. Now I am praying He will give me another job. I know He will answer that too!
