01/01/2009 Calvary Men's Softball Hey guys our softball league begins in January 2009. It will run into the month of March. You will see information coming out at the end of October on how to get involved. We will have 12 teams again next season. PLAY BALL!!!!!

01/31/2009 Athletes in Action Superbowl Breakfast Simulcast Mark you calendars now for a great time at Calvary Central Campus. We will join a satellite broadcast out of Florida. We don't have all the details but here's what we know for sure. Bart Starr, Tony Dungy, Anthony Munoz, Brent Jones, The Winner of the 2009 Bart Starr Award and many more will share with us via satellite. Fast and furious video footage of the teams playing in The Big Game, up close and personal interviews with players and other celebrated guests will be presented. The presentation of the prestigious Bart Starr Award will be given to a player selected by his peers who exemplifies character in the home, on the field and in the community.

04/25/2009 Men's Golf Tournament Men of Calvary 10th Annual Golf Tournament Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at 7:00 AM (Need to check in by 6:30 AM) Place: Arizona Traditions Golf Resort 17225 N. Citrus Rd. Surprise, Arizona 623-584-4000 The resort is on Bell Road, 5 miles west of Grand Avenue. Dress codes ARE STRICTLY enforced by the golf course. A collared shirt is required. No denim shorts or pants are allowed. No hard spikes are permitted. Tennis shoes or soft spikes are permitted. Please, no alcoholic beverages. We don’t want to stumble anyone. You can arrive at 6:00 AM for range balls and warm-up. Please check-in by 6:30 AM. We will play come rain or shine, no refunds are available due to weather. Registration deadline is April 12h, 2009. Included in the price are 18 holes of golf w/carts Free range balls before tournament Prizes will be awarded Hamburger lunch Gift. Shot gun start, four-man scramble

08/21/2009 Men's Advance Come join us in the cool pine country as we peruse the Word and set our focus on key verses in the Bible. What to bring: Bible, notebook & pen/pencil, flashlight, personal toiletries. Sheets, pillow and towels are provided. Bring a swimsuit if you plan on using the pool or spa. Events for Friday: Check in starts at 4:30pm, Prayer time at 6:00pm, Dinner will be served at 7:00pm and service starts at 8:00pm. Lost Canyon Camp - 928-635-2900 Directions: Take I-17 north to Flagstaff. Just before the city of Flagstaff take I-40 west to Williams (30 miles) and take Exit #163 on to Grand Canyon Blvd. Follow Grand Canyon Blvd. to the second stop sign, immediately after crossing the railroad tracks. Turn Right on to Route 66. Follow Route 66 for two blocks, and turn left on to 4th street. Follow 4th street which will take you south of Williams and 4th street will turn into Perkinsville Rd. Take this road a total of 1.9 miles until you see the “Lost Canyon” sign on the left. Turn left into the camp entrance and follow the road into camp.
