Keeping Calvary's Kids Well
Calvary want's to keep your child healthy as much as you do. Because of this, we cannot accept children that are sick into class. If your child has a runny nose, a cold less than a week old, diarrhea, cough, rash, or any other illness, we request that you not place your child in the Children's Ministry until they are not at risk of exposing other children to illness. This will help us keep our Children's Ministry a fun, healthy place to worship.

Arrival
When you arrive at your child's room, you will be greeted by the teacher or helper for their class. You will be required to sign your child in and take a number that will be assigned to your child and their belongings. When signing your child in, be sure to note on the sign-in sheet any allergies or special needs your child may have. It is also a good idea to inform the teacher of these needs as well.

During the service if you are needed, your child's number will flash on monitors in the main sanctuary and other places around campus. If you will be somewhere on campus other than one of the sanctuaries, or HeBrews coffee and tea, make sure to note your location on the sign-in sheet so the Children's Ministry Staff can find you if you are needed.

The number provided to you when checking your child in will be needed to check your child out. No child will be released to a parent without the assigned number.

Leaving Your Child
Once your child is checked into class, simply say goodbye, wave, and leave for service. It is common for children to cry when their parents leave them in Children's Ministry. Often this only lasts a few minutes and fades away over time. Our teachers and helpers will ensure your child is well taken care of and will try to ease the separation by providing toys, games, and other activities. Your child will become more comfortable with being left in Children's Ministry as they find that you return every time to pick them up. In the event that your child cries for an extended period of time, and is inconsolable, we will notify you.

Bible Study
At Calvary the Word of God is at the center of everything we do. Bible lessons are planned and reinforced with activities, crafts, play, music, and songs appropriate for your childs age. Each week your child will work on memorizing a verse of the Bible, and lessons will focus on helping your child come to a knowledge and love of Jesus Christ our Lord. All of our classes will also visit one of our playgrounds designed for their specific age group.

Snacks
We provide snacks appropriate for your childs age. Examples of the snacks include vanilla wafers, animal crackers, and cheerios. We also provide the children with water during the snack time. It is important to let us know of any allergies your child may have. Please note these on the sign in sheet and let our teachers and helpers know.

Picking Up Your Child
When picking up your child, you will need the number assigned to them during check in. The teachers and helpers will expect the same person who dropped your child off to pick them up. Make sure to pick up all of your child's belongings when checking your child out. There are often crafts to pick up for your child outside the room as well.
