Special Needs
We provide companionship for children who need a little extra help being able to stay in a Sunday school class with their friends. Some of our children only need a little verbal reminder and encouragement to stay on task; others may require a little more hands-on redirection. Each child is paired with a teen-aged or adult companion for the length of the service. The companion and child are paired according to the child’s need and the helper’s comfort and experience level. If your believe your child would benefit from this program, please speak with one of the children's coordinators in the Children's Ministry building.
Calvary Kids Mentoring Program (CKMP)
Calvary Kids Mentoring Program's mission is to to recruit, train, equip, and encourage caring Christian men and women to spend a minimum of 2 hours a week with a struggling youth through his or her life’s circumstances to reach their potential and to help that youth build healthy relationships with family, friends, and their Creator. Divorce Care for Kids - (Wednesday Nights 7:00-8:15 Room 204)
Divorce Care for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.
Best of all, children will learn how God's Love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!
