Question / Issue
If you have been baptized by sprinkling water on your head, should you get it done again by submersion?

Answer / Solution

You probably should. If the sprinkling was administered when you where an infant, or before you understood that you were saved, then you should definitely be baptized as a believer. If you were sprinkled as an adult, you still may not have had a grasp of salvation at the time.

If a person was baptized as a believer, they should not be baptized again later because we are saved once, and Christ died once for all. However, since you were sprinkled, you might want to be baptized correctly. Your salvation does not depend on how you were baptized, but we want to obey Christ in participating in this testimony of what He's done for us.
