Question / Issue
At death ,Christians, believers, saved ones go to be with the Lord,Where do the unsaved ones go?

Answer / Solution
The place where souls went after death before Jesus came is described in Luke 16:19-31. "Abraham's bosom" is where the Old Testament saints went before Jesus' resurrection. When Jesus came to this place, He took away all these saints to be with Him in Paradise when He left, so that any Christian who dies now is with the Lord immediately.

The same passage describes the place where unsaved souls are after death. Sheol, the Old Testament word for the grave, or Hades, in the New Testament, are different words for the same place. It is divided into 2 parts, Abraham's bosom (now empty since the saints are all with Jesus), and the place of torment where those who have rejected God await the judgement day. So the unsaved who are in the grave are waiting for the judgement, after which they will be cast into the lake of fire according to Rev 20:15.
