| Do you encourage Sunday to be kept like the Sabbath? |
| Answer / Solution |
 |
| Only in the same "spirit" as God intended for the Sabbath. The Sabbath was to be a REST for God's people, not a duty that secured righteousness by means of observance. Sunday gathering and worship is the practice of Christians since the first century because Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday. It is simply a practice, not a doctrinal requirement! Sunday, or any day for that matter, can be a day of REST in the Lord. The basic principle is to secure at least one day of rest each week and dedicate it to the Lord through worship of Him and in fellowship with His people. |
