Pasttor Mark said on Sunday 1/24/11 that looking at your horoscope was s sin. Is that true? And why?

Answer / Solution

The whole idea of a horoscope is suposedly to tell you about yourself and to foretell the future. They teach that planets and stars have an impct on your life.

The Bible forbids divination, and sorcery (Deuteronomy 18:10-14). We are are tolook to God only (Deuteronomy 18:15).

The Bible points to Jesus Christ as the focus of faith (Acts 4:12; Hebrews 12:2). Our trust is in God alone, and we know that He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Astrology opposes God and His plan. We are to read the Bible and pray to God in order to gain wisdom and guidance from God. Don't mess with horoscopes to guide your life. Let God lead you in your walk with Him
