Question / Issue
If we are the church, can we pass on going to any church? Thank you

Answer / Solution

You are free to do many things; but to think that it is normal or right to skip out of church is a category error that confuses form with distinction.  Spiritually, all Christians are the body of Christ (form); organizationally, there are institutions called churches (distinction) that congregate in accordance with scripture.

Acts 2

42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Romans 12

5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one member’s one of another.

1 Corinthians 12

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.

The only thing that should keep a Christian from forming a shadow on church grounds is a physical condition that precludes walking, driving, etc.
