Is "pleading the blood of Jesus" scriptural. I have heard it used in praying for protection over people and property.

Answer / Solution

No, but the name of Jesus is.

God is not impressed with big words that come from human lips; but He is profoundly fond of His children whose hearts are pure and sincere. Power in prayer (effective prayer) comes from (1) humility, (2) righteousness, and (3) fervency. Keep it simple and "to the point" when praying, and always pray in Jesus name.
