Question / Issue
What does it mean to be redeemed from the curse of the Law?

Answer / Solution
Galatians 3:13 says,

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law , having become a curse for us — for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE".

This means that Jesus paid the price to release us from the penalty of the law. Under the law we were all under the sentence of death because of sin. The curse of the law is death. Jesus paid the price by dying and actually becoming a curse on the cross to pay our sins.
