Question / Issue
If someone told me in Greek to go get a haircut or go have surgery on my appendix, would that be an aorist direct imperative or an indirect passive imperative?

Answer / Solution

In order to say for certain, one would have to see the actual Greek word. Different letters prefixed or suffixed to the Greek word form allow these fine distinctions to be made.

With that said, when an action is being performed on you, the verb form usually takes a passive form.
