Question / Issue
Can you go your whole life without love?

Answer / Solution

Yes, but God did not design it to be that way.  The problem of evil in this world leverages sorrow on everyone, including God’s children.  God has promised in His Word to ultimately defeat evil in all of its forms.  God uses all things, including relationships, to model His love for us.  The love we receive from a spouse, parent or friend is designed to show us how love unifies personalities.

Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

This promise is sometimes all that we can hold onto when loneliness presses in hard on the soul.  God desires that everyone experience the full range of happiness available in the human experience, but does not force anyone to enjoy it.  Sometimes our opportunities are simply limited by a world that does not see things like God does.

We live in a world that believes wealth, beauty and intelligence actually matter when assessing the worth of an individual.  This is exactly opposite of what the Bible teaches concerning God’s view of the individual.  God sees the heart and judges accordingly.  God desires fellowship with the hearts He’s created and has paid all that can be paid to ransom them to Himself.

Rest assured, the comforts of your Heavenly Father’s arms will more than make up for the loss perceived in this world.
