There is some 'magic' by wizards involved in the game.  It's not the main theme of the game, however we are told in Scriputre "do not  participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness"  - Eph 5:11.   The existance and use of magic is subtle.  If one were not looking very closely, they could miss it. 

God does strictly forbid such things to his children....    "There shall not be found among you anyone...who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.  For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD..."  - Deut 18:10-13
