Question / Issue

Was Mary a virgin after the birth of Christ? Please provide a scriptural reference.

Answer / Solution

Evangelical Christians believe that Mary did not stay a virgin after Christ's birth, since Scripture indicates that she had other children after the birth of Jesus. See Matthew 12:46-50, Mark 3:31-35, and John 2:12 for a few biblical references that support this belief.
