At Calvary we believe it's important for women to develop lasting and meaningful relationships with other Christian women; that's why we offer a multitude of ways to get together and fellowship. Whether it’s a Bible study, crafting workshop or retreat, we love hanging out with the gals!

There are also service opportunities that you can take advantage of:

• Media: We are currently training people who are willing to serve behind cameras, to aid in EZ-worship presentation and other media spots during the Women's Bible Study. Exciting opportunity for you who like to serve behind the scenes in a very vital, alive area of ministry!
• Worship Team: Singers and instrumentalists are always needed! Come worship with us!
• Special Events Teams: During the year, Calvary Women's Ministries hosts several special events such as the Christmas Tea and the Calvary Women's Retreats. There are opportunities for service here at every level, from the planning to the actual event and being involved in teh excitement of seeing it actually happen!
• Ushers, Greeters, Atrium Tables: We need your smile to meet and greet women who are coming to Calvary. Training will be provided. Come join us!

Prayer Group

Pray! Glorify God by praying for others, interceding for the Church, community and government.

Participate in a number of ways: classes, prayer meetings, outreach and special events. Join the group for prayer at 5:17PM at the Northwest Campus..

Women Serving Women Group

Create gift baskets! serve women by making gift baskets and praying for ladies in need. Participate in the creation and delivery of gift baskets for hospitalized or home-bound ladies.

Post-abortion Care & Encouragement

Offer comfort to those who made difficult decisions in the past. This is a group discussion meeting format in a private location. Information is available at the Women's Ministry table in either atrium or by email to .

Loving Care for Moms

This is a support group for mothers who are dealing with the loss of a child. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7PM in a private home.

Mom's Praying for Children

Any mom who has a child needing prayer is welcome in this group for prayer and fellowship. Meetings are as announced. Visit www.motherspraying.com or email for more information.

Widows Group

This is a group of Christian widows that gets together as a 'fun' group and does an outing once a month (excluding June, July and August).

We've gone bowling as well as had group outings to Karchner Caverns, the Culinary Institute, the Botanical Gardens, a steamboat ride, various day trips and occasional over-nighters.

We also love to visit people in the hospital, shut-ins, and nursing home folks.

The craft groups are scheduled to meet regularly on the 1st Thursday of every month from 6:30pm-9:00pm in the Fellowship Hall at the central campus and on both the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of every month from 10am-4pm also in the Fellowship Hall at the central campus.

Jewelry Making Group

Make jewelry! Fellowship! Learn how to make a variety of beaded jewelry items. Per-piece price ranges from $8 - $35.

The group is meeting monthly on the 1st Thursday evening from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm and on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm. Look for more information and a sign-up sheet at the Women's Ministry table in either atrium or email !

Quilting Group

Make (or learn how to make) quilts! Support worldwide missions!

This is a quilting and fellowship group that produces quilts that are sent overseas and to Mexico. Come share quilting, sewing, crocheting and knitting ideas - and fellowship! All supplies are furnished free of charge.

Knitting & Crocheting Group

Come out with your yarn and set a spell!! Join us for fun and fellowship on the 3rd Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall from 10AM - Noon. More information is available by email to or at the Women's Ministry table in either atrium.

Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting Group

Have fun, fellowship, make scrapbooks, cards, mini-books, etc. Create memories that will last a lifetime!

Bring a project you're working on or come ready to start a new project! The group has a modest but nice collection of various papers, embellishments and tools; bring your own basic supplies (paper trimmer, adhesive, ruler, scissors) and photographs!

The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30PM to 9:00PM and on the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 10:00AM - 4:00PM.

A card exchange is held on each 2nd Saturday meeting and on the 3rd Saturday there are informal, hour long classes of various related topics.

Fresh Flower Arranging

Have fun, fellowship and learn the art of fresh flower arranging. The cost for each class is about $20. You will leave with a beautiful, custom arrangement! The class is held periodically throughout the year.

Share your poems, short stories, devotionals and books! Meet other Christian writers! Get some instruction  and feedback!

The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 11am - 1pm in Room 204 at the central campus AND on the 4th Monday of every month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm also in Room 204 at the central campus.  The focus of each session is as follows:

• 1st Wednesday meeting ==> this is our Inkshop  meeting. Learn the mechanics of literature and creative writing.

• 3rd Wednesday meeting ==> this is a Rough Draft meeting where you can share and receive feedback.

• 4th Monday meeting ==> this is another Rough Draft meeting for sharing and receiving feedback.
