About Pastor Dan

I grew up in the church; both my father and mother having gone to Bible College. They had planned to go on the mission field, but they were not accepted (otherwise, I might have grown up speaking Mandarin). My brothers and sister also grew up to love and serve the Lord. My wife, Linda, and I joined Calvary in 1985, where we’ve raised our three children and now our grand-children.

I have served at Calvary in a college ministry, a singles ministry, helped plant a church, on the elder board and, since 1995, as an assistant pastor. What a joy it’s been to serve with so many others in what God has done at Calvary!

It's our experience is that Christian couples who become involved with their church family, who create relationships with other believers, are much more likely to continue serving the Lord and maintain a healthy home life than those who don't. That's why the MARRIED COUPLES' CLASS is such a great place to plug in at Calvary. You'll meet couples of all ages and enjoy fellowship at lots of fun activities and events. Our Bible study is about growing in the Faith and discovering God's plan for us in Christ. We hope you can come and see if this might be just the right place for you; we'd love to meet you!
